So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth.

It's been a LONG, LONG 10 months waiting for this sight....

The containers ready to roll toward our ministry property!

Shipped on May 31st, 2016, arriving in port in July. We asked all of our friends and prayer warriors to intercede on our behalf. God's provision is in the hands of His people. Your prayers for these brothers and sisters have made a difference!!

We received a joyous set of messages and photos this week with the tremendous news.

Onto the next step....

UNLOADING!

The unloading has begun!

You have been our faithful partners in prayer and support, my friends and we ask you to continue to life up our ministry. There is much work to be done as we unload, assess and begin the projects the contents were sent for. As this was being posted today, I (Wendy) received an amazing update from our powerful founder Beth Weedor....she's already distributing the contents....

Here's the update Beth sent:

"Today was an exciting day for us. What we've long awaited to see happen for the past ten months finally came to past today. Here's a picture of our second distribution trips of supplies from our containers (CenterPoint International Ministry) that were just released from the port of Liberia on this gone Friday. This is a village outside of Monrovia that is located after the Robert International Airport of Liberia. Two weeks ago, we discovered that there is no school close by in this particular area for kids. Therefore almost all of the kids who are at school age in this village and in three other nearby villages aren't in school. It's our prayers that God would open doors for another Petals of Hope school to be built in the area. Though these kids aren't in school, they were excited to receive backpacks, teddy bears, notes books and tooth tunes toothbrushes from us, and so did their parents. Their smiles after they've received these gifts melted my heart and brought tears to my eyes. A huge thank you to John and Lynn Parker at Advancing Native Missions for making this possible. I hope and pray that anyone reading this post would prayerfully join Petals of Hope to help give underprivileged kids in Liberia a sustainable education, but above all, to share the love of Jesus with them through your giving."

Friends, we still have so much work to be done, "So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth." (Job 5:16) Join us please? We need your prayers and we need financial support. Join an effort that is building the Kingdom of Christ in places the enemy of our souls already counts as lost. Help us build HOPE today.
